NFL Players Don't Wear Cups Anymore...
Read that title again. Take it in.
Does that seem sane in any way, shape, or form???
I remember how cool I thought it was back in my baseball-playing days when I realized I actually had something that necessitated a cup....and that was BASEBALL!
My chances of getting popped in the nuts were damn near ZERO...
In this article by ESPN.com's David Fleming, he explores why cups are almost unheard of in a sport where peer pressure has overrided the fear of being "leg-whipped in the groin".
