Another VP Debate Whopper From Uncle Dick...
"Now, in my capacity as vice president, I am the president of Senate, the presiding officer. I'm up in the Senate most Tuesdays when they're in session."
-Dick Cheney at last night's debate
Here's the problem: A quick look at who the acting presidents of the Senate were from 2001-2004 shows that Dick Cheney acted as president of the Senate exactly TWICE in four years.
Once on November 17, 2002 and again on January 7, 2003.
Good work, Dick...
Here's the kicker: Looking at the same list, you'll find that John Edwards acted as Senate president exactly (wait for it....it's coming.....hold on to your hats!!!) TWICE over the same four year period!
Once on October 16, 2001 and again on March 5, 2002.
So, it seems that Senator Edwards is just as capable as Uncle Dick of being the leader of the Senate. Edwards has got just as much experience doing it as he does!
I initially called the debate for Cheney before all the lies started pouring out like Oxycontin pills out of Daryn Kagan's nightstand, but now, I'm sorry Uncle Dick, YOU LOST, YOU LYING PRICK!!!
