King's X Is The Best Band You're Not Listening To...
They're so good, they actually kept me away from the debate last night.
If you've never heard of King's X, they are a progressive rock trio that had a couple of decent-sized hits in the early 90's with the songs "It's Love" and "Black Flag".
Their show last night at The Brewery here in Raleigh was amazing. Anytime you can see a band with that big of a sound in a small venue, it's pretty incredible.
If you'd like to get acquainted with their sound, their 1997 Best Of King's X CD is a great place to start...
P.S. A terrific local rock band called Runaway Cab opened last night's show and they are also a great band to check out. Do yourself a favor and check out both of these awesome bands...
