Bush Taps The Congressional ATM Again...
$80 billion more for our little experiment in Iraq? No problem?
$1.5 billion just for a US embassy in Baghdad? Big friggin' deal!!!
Don Juan astutely points out what else will be costing us $1.5 billion dollars:
You know what else is going to cost $1.5 billion? The Freedom Tower, being built on the former WTC site.
What the hell kind of embassy are we building?

UPDATE: In a related story, the Congressional Budget Office is already projecting a $368 billion budget deficit for 2005. Keep in mind that this figure does not include the aformentioned $80 billion that will be tossed down the bottomless pit that is Iraq...
$368 billion+$80 billion=$448 BILLION BUDGET DEFICIT.
Last year's record deficit was $412 billion.
Nothing fuzzy about that math...
