15% Beer Could Be Coming To North Carolina By The End Of The Month!

It's about freaking time!

Any time you're one of only 6 states to have a law in place, and the other states are West Virginia, Arkansas, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi...well, that's not good...

Sean Wilson from PopTheCap reports that House Bill 392 has moved to the state Senate and passed the commerce committee by a 19-1 margin. The Senate may vote to raise the alcohol limit on beer by July 12th.

Once the vote is complete, the bill would become law 10 days after a successful vote.

Barring a veto by Gov. Easley, which ain't happening, 15% will become the legal limit for beers in North Carolina.

Drink up, North Cackalackey!!!
