Rolling Stones Coming To Duke...
This is actually pretty cool news...
For once, the rumors turned out to be true: The Rolling Stones are coming to Durham in October.I've never seen the Stones live, and considering the condition of their barely-alive drummer and the narcotically-embalmed Keith Richards, you never know when it will be their last tour.
On Oct. 8, the venerable classic-rock band will play Duke University's Wallace Wade Stadium, which hasn't seen a concert in decades. Tickets are $60, $95 and $160 plus service charges. The fan club presale begins at 10 a.m. today; see www.rollingstones.com for details. The general on-sale date is 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets.
