Has This Ever Happened Before?In the NHL playoffs, a funny thing has happened.
In the Eastern Conference, the top 4 seeds won every opening round series (Ottawa, Carolina, New Jersey, Buffalo).
However, out in the Western Conference, the top 4 seeds LOST every opening round series (Detroit, Dallas, Calgary, Nashville).
Has that ever happened in the NBA or the NHL?
Here are my 2nd Round Predictions:
EAST
Ottawa over Buffalo in 6
Carolina over New Jersey in 7
WEST
San Jose over Edmonton in 6
Colorado over Anaheim in 5
