College Football
- Kudos to Skip Holtz, Terry Holland, a really talented defense, and all of ECU for not being overcome by the emotions today and reminding VA Tech and the world that they are for real on the football field as well as class acts off of it. They were without their starting QB and used 2-3 guys and pulled of an unexpectedly good performance. ECU was shrewd to get Holland as AD, and Holland was smart to get Holtz. Watch this team in coming years, they are going to make some noise.
- Appalachian State 34, Michigan 32. Yeee-hah! I just don't like teams from the mid-west. So shoot me. I love it when the supposed pin-cushion team upsets the big club on opening day. Regarding the first bullet in this post, I like it when they ALMOST upset the favorite.
