The Democratic wave is still rolling!
...and it's rolling through a red state near you!Kentucky: Democrat Steve Beshear wiped the floor with corrupt GOP incumbent Ernie Fletcher by a 59%-41% margin. Democrats also won all but two of the statewide races on the ballot in the Bluegrass State.
Virginia: Democrats won their first state Senate majority in 12 years by netting 4 seats. This makes three straight years of big Democratic gains in the Commonwealth.
Mississippi: Democrats won back control of the state Senate.
On a side note, it's good to see Philadelphia is getting a new mayor in Democrat Michael Nutter. John Street has been an embarrassment to the city, and I'm very glad to see him go...
