Al In Charge...
...means that overpaying will happen. FatMarcus Russell will never justify his guaranteed money and neither will DeAngelo Hall, who just got $24.5 guaranteed. I have no doubt that both will contribute considerably to that annual disappointment of a "team" known as the Raiders.
But are they worth the money in a salary cap environment? I doubt it. But "Me"Angelo Hall is now on the right team. The Raiders have always attracted guys who put the "I" in team - reflective of Al "Old Doddering Dufus" Davis - and clearly still do.
