THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!!! THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!!!
I've lived in North Carolina for over 12 years, and for all that time, there's a been a gaping void in the state's culinary landscape.
Until now...
Last night, I had a REAL PHILADELPHIA CHEESESTEAK for the first time in the Tar Heel state!
Fat Philly's recently opened in Holly Springs, and they are making the real thing using the same bread, meat, and cheese that you'd find in downtown Philly.
The owners are very good people, and yes, they take catering orders.
P.S. Don't get me wrong, there are several places around here where you can get a great cheesesteak, but this is the first REAL thing I've seen. Excellent!
