Criminally underrated bands Part I
Molding metal, punk and hardcore into one equal-opportunity ass kicking machine, they have never received enough credit for their pioneering. They packed their songs with killer riffs and lyrics all in a serene bubble of fantastic production. People have been ripping off “Institutionalized” for years and “Alone” is quite possibly one of the best songs ever written. Rocky George is a guitar god, Robert Trujillo is simply a beast on the bass and Mike Muir’s voice was like a melodic buzzsaw.
