Suddenly, I really hope it's Joe Biden...
The guy has paid his dues, knows more about American foreign policy than just about anyone else, and would serve as a great attack dog so Barack Obama could stay above the fray.
Thankfully, he's got a personality that does not scream "typical politician".
Sure, he voted for the war in Iraq, but his three-state solution is probably the only one that has a reasonable chance of securing the country going forward.
My biggest problem with Biden is his close ties to the credit card industry, which lead to his active involvement in the abominable bankruptcy bill of 2005.
That pissed me off then, and still pisses me off now, but it also proved to me that nobody in the House or Senate is free from poor decisions and/or misplaced loyalties at one point or another.
Aside from that, Biden is as good as it gets in the Democratic Veepstakes.
