I've figured out why the GOP'ers are so enamored of Sarah Palin...
She puts an attractive face on a movement that is anything but.
The picture most people have of the conservative movement is an angry old white man turning his nose up at gay people, minorities, poor people and pretty much anyone else who doesn't look and act exactly he and his closest friends and family.
Archie Bunker, in a nutshell.
By getting an attractive and "folksy" woman to take a lead role in the movement, they turn that negative image on it's head.
My great hope is that people with common sense won't be fooled.
My interest in Sarah Palin stems from the fact that she is the living, breathing embodiment of John McCain's poor and, let's face it, dangerous judgement...
