Is this really the Republican line coming out of their 2nd electoral ass-whipping in a row???

Conservative commentators are trying to claim that the results of last weeks election prove that America is a "center-right" nation.

Ummmm. How the hell is that?

Democrats now control:

The White House (which Barack Obama won with a whopping 365 electoral votes)

29 of 50 state governorships

57 U.S. Senate seats (possibly more, depending on the outcomes in MN, AK and GA)

At least 257 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives (far more than the Republicans ever held during their 12 years in control)

How exactly is this a "center-right" nation?

It should also be noted that many conservatives are also claiming that Obama campaigned as a conservative...less than a week after claiming he was a socialist.

The verdict? Conservatives are morons, and their time in the political wilderness is long overdue...
