How long we've waited for this day...
No, I'm not talking about 8 years. This country has waited far longer than that for a President who could bring such an energy and optimism at a time when it was so desperately needed.
Not since FDR has a man ascended to the presidency at such a challenging time.
My faith helps me believe that Barack Obama is up to the task ahead, and my wife and children are the greatest reasons I could ever imagine to care so much about a President.
He is a good man. Even those who didn't vote for him must see that on some level.
More importantly, I feel he is the right man. A man with the intellect, stability and confidence to improve America's standing in a rapidly-changing and historically volatile world.
God bless Barack Obama and Joe Biden as they assume this vast undertaking. I know in my heart they will do well for all of us.
