At long last, Zell Miller has been proven right...

The problem is, he thought the Democratic party was destined to be "A National Party No More".

The current chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Sen. John Cornyn, begs to differ.

"I will tell you that in 2010 we are working very hard to make sure that we have the kind of candidates across the country on a national scale," said Cornyn, "that will allow the Republican Party to regain our status as a national party, and run competitive races in blue states, and purple states, and in red states."
It's nice to see such a powerful Republican come to grips with the fact that his party is now merely a regional political entity with little or no influence outside of the South...
