McCain Guru Urges GOP to Back Gay Marriage
Don't expect any real change from the GOP (on this or any other issue), even when voter demographics tell them otherwise. For now it remains the party of no, the party of intolerance, the party of Palin, the party of dumb. Better to feel righteously indignant than to ever compromise! It is the increasingly the party of older whites in the south and west. Not a demographic hand I would want to play for long. Yet Caribou Barbie and Sanford and Limbaugh and Tancredo continue to define this party. Let's hope they cling to there angry strategy for a bit longer.|
