Keeping with Tradition...
The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. The elected party that is in power - in the areas it controls militarily - Hamas, is willing to go along with the US peace plan for Israel and "Palestine" as long as Israel recognizes Jerusalem as the capitol of the new Palestine. Talk about a poison pill. These people do not want peace, and these are the elected representatives of the "Palestinians". I think Israel is wrong to pursue more West Bank settlements, but how can it be expected to "negotiate" with this sort of group, elected or not?
