Hawaii = Un-American?

So says Republican talking head Kevin Madden, criticizing President Obama's decision to vacation in his birth state of Hawaii for the holidays...

You have to also remember the fact that the president being on vacation in Hawaii, it's much different than being in Texas. Hawaii to many Americans seems like a foreign place. And I think those images, the optics, hurt President Obama very badly.

I'm sure the families of the soldiers that died at Pearl Harbor would be happy to hear that Hawaii is considered something less than American by this GOP toolbag.

Also, wasn't the governor of Texas recently heard making noises about his state seceding from the union?
