Explain this one to me, you brilliant Republicans...

Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) has placed a hold on ALL of President Obama's nominations currently pending in the Senate because he may lose a couple of earmarks for projects in his home shithole state. I thought Republicans didn't like earmarks.

How can a sane person justify this kind of legislative shit-fit? Are there any sane Republicans left???
